Hi ryanmckenzie I'm new to this too what instrument are you playing and what sort of music, I play a Roland Fantom x8 and play rock music -Whitesnake, Bon Jovi, Journey, Dio, Oxxy Osborne etc. I'm fairly new to it all and struggle mostly finding the right sounds.
