Played keyboard since the age of 3 and had lessons from aged 5 to 12 when i switched to guitar and drums.
When i was 21 i filled in for a band playing keyboards and was rusty to say the least. I never really learned to read music and found it very difficult, i have always played by ear.
I'm now front man in my own 4 piece band, Longweekend and also play keyboards and guitar. I'm having to go back to practicing lots as in the past i have played pretty much everything in a C Maj Key (never got on with those pesky black keys) but now the lads in the band are making me play stuff in the original key... I'll be 30 in may, i'm also a Plumber and a retained firefighter though i'll be leaving the fire service in march as i'm so busy with the band.
