I frequent the Korg Forum where this has been displayed for two weeks.

If it's financial matters causing the downtime, I'm pretty sure most of the community at the forum would share a couple of dollars to help out to keep on the good work.
It's a huge lot of knowledge and information as well as great help from users / members to find there, so lets hope it's just a temporary issue.

Does ANYBODY have any update on what is happening on the Korg Forum, or has it shut down for good?

Korg forums is owned and runned by James - Irish Act Studio.

As said above, hopefully everything is OK with James.
I'm not sure, but I seem to remember read at the forum long time ago that the K Forum site is hosted at Korg's servers?

I've asked at SZ Gen Arr Korg forum if anyone know something, but no reply so far.
Maybe James peeks in and read both here and there?

Btw,
it was announced at the Korg forum that it would be down for maintenance some days early October, but it was up that period.

My understanding was that the forum was hosted by Korg USA.

Given the amount of stick that has been written about Korg on the forums it would not surprise me if they pulled the plug.

I don't know if it's good or bad news, but now the website is not available at all.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's good news and that it is maintenance and changes to new and better forum that cause it, but at the same time I have a touch of an uneasy feeling.

There is a Contact Us page on the Irish Acts Studio website, but I'm unable to populate my name and Email address in the respective data fields. Without those, messages can't be sent.

My guess he ( James) is trying to sell it. Use of the forum has droped quite a bit in the last 5 years. Korg hasn't produced the way they used to and interest among old liners has waned and new people are not as active.
I joined in 2003 and I used it a lot.
I will miss it if its gone. Lots of education will be lost

Yes it is a great pity, and as a fairly new Korg player, it was a great source of information.
Personally I'd be happy to help to keep it going, but with complete silence, I am hesitant to do that without some kind of feedback from the site owners.

Yeah,
that's the page and message we've seen for a long time now, but since yesterday that page don't come up here at all, just a message about the server / page cannot be connected or found.

It's possibe to find 'snapshots' of the site and forum by use the Wayback Machine .
I've copied a link from YMForums, because Derek did find a 'fresher' date than I did when search.
