HI all i'm happy to find this forum and hopefully you can help me.
I'm a 3d artist, so the feel of my peripherals is very important. I'm also very picky about style.
being an artist you might guess my room has to look a certian way.
Anyways, i've been hunting for the perfect keyboard for months to no avail.
I have these criteria, maybe you can help?
-compact
-concave keys (as in, not a perfectly flat touch surface)
-cntrl key on bottom left spot (important because odd placement makes the hotkeys in my software annoying)
-backspace in a normal place (important because odd placement makes the hotkeys in my software annoying)
-it's OK for it to have an attached number pad
-it's OK for it to have an attached touchpad mouse
-must be ALL black (or close to it, if theres a spot of color here and there, I'll just customize it, haha i'm that picky).

That's about it.
if you have any ideas send them my way, thanks!

This is the second post I remember about someone wanting a better non-musical keyboard. I didn't realize that people cared that much.

If you're a touch typist as I am it makes a world of difference if you use a keyboard with mechanical switches like a vintage Cherry or one of those 20$ membrane garbage keyboards you get from Logitech.

As with musical keyboards or any precision keypad tactile feedback is everything.

No harm no foul man. Stick around anyway. You might unlock the hidden musician buried deep inside you :D :D :D
