Help please with DGX-630 connect to an ipad

Hi there
I wonder if anybody can help is there a way to connect a iPad or an iPhone to a Yamaha DGX-630 portable grand. I am trying to help my wife with this.

Welcome.

Your Wife’s DGX has a USB port hence a standard USB cable plugged into the port and the other end into a genuine Apple Camera Adaptor then that plugged into the iPad should get it working.

There are apps like Garage Band and Yamaha’s own that can be installed into the iPad.

This is the Lightning version, I am in the UK hence price in pounds sterling.

If its an older iPad with the 30 pin connector you may have to search around online for one.

Note that the USB cable must be USB 2, not USB 3, and its length should not exceed the maximum length which is mentioned in your keyboard's manual-- which I think is usually something like 3 meters.
