Help!

I just bought a MidiPlus AKM320 and can't get it to make a sound. Windows 10 recognizes it and most of my midi software recognizes it but to no avail. It remains silent. Any suggestions? I am new to Midi.

If I'm not mistaken, that's just a MIDI keyboard "controller," which means it doesn't make any sounds of its own. What you need to do is use it to control (that is, play) a software or hardware MIDI "sound module," such as a virtual instrument plugin in a DAW.

You mentioned that you have MIDI software. What MIDI programs are you using?

I have BandLab Assistant. Presonus Studio One (which is far to complex for me) MidiEditor and WaveForm 11. I need good midi software for beginners.
