Would like to get in touch with those who have one and trade tips and tricks etc. to shorted the learning cure. I've had various keyboards starting with a Prophet 5 long ago. Looking to sell my JP-8000 if that is allowed around here. Do recording at home Sony Acid original music and covers. My emphasis is voice which is probably my greatest asset. Also a professional drummer for many years.

Post back when you've had a chance to play on your Jupiter 80. The nearest music shop to me (which has a keyboard department) got in a couple of models of the rival - the Korg Kronos.

The work I get these days is all straightforward dial up a sound and play live. The 80 appears to be more suitable for that (with little set-up). I'd be interested in how easy you find your way around on it - and what you're using it for.
