HS SK1-73 key not working

So yesterday one of the black keys (Eflat) on my HS SK1-73 doesn't make any sound. I did a full reset with no luck. I live in a small town, so no diagnostic help available unless I send the board back to Hammond. Anyone else have this problem and am able to give me the most likely cause? Thanks in advance

Could be a dirty contact.

I tried the link Dave. Kinda pricey for online advice.

It probably is a dirty or defective contact strip so I'll direct this nice fellow to Youtube and the hundred million videos on how to fix this problem.

Then he can decide if he wants to attempt the repair himself or else ship it to an authorized service centre.
