I need help setting up VB3m (hooking up phone to keyboard)

I have a newer iPhone so it just has the one lightning port. my keyboard is the Yamaha DGX. Preferably I’d like the audio to still come out of the keyboards speakers, but if that’s not possible then phone is phone. But since the iPhone only has the one lightning port, how can I get the audio out of that adapt into a quarter inch? While still maintaining the midi connection to the board

Do you have a Apple Camera Adaptor?

If not you will need to buy one, there are two types so avoid buying the one with just a USB A socket. The one to buy has the USB A socket and a Lightning charge socket.

I assume you have the DGX 670 and this is the smart device manual for it which shows the connections required

Seems to me a simple USB-B (printer) to Lightning cable will do the job. This is what i use with my iphone and MODX and it works perfectly. Midi goes out the MODX over USB and the sound comes back from VB3m via the same cable. You wont need a hub or adapter.
