hi,
i'm looking to get a good keyboard to learn piano on, as well as use for midi.
When the P115 is hooked up to a software instrument via logic - does it have anything over a cheapo keyboard apart from better action (fullly weighted) ?

cheers,
G

How cheap is cheapo? A really cheap keyboard wouldn't have velocity sensitivity, which for most keyboardists would be a killer restriction. (Organists and harpsichordists would be OK with it, since their keyboard of choice is also not velocity sensitive.)

Just looked at current keyboards and that was my first choice in and around that price and size.
I'm mainly a woodwind player.
It is for the house and the action was piano like..... might as well train your hands as best you can afford.
Bouncy keys feel funny.
No MIDI info for you at this time.
