that's great then! i asked if it's compatible because in the user's manual, when it comes to the pedal, it says "connect an optional dp-2, dp-6 or boss fs-5u", but in my country for now dp-10 is only available (secondhand), so i was confused how does it not say dp-10 when it must be compatibleFor use as a standard sustain pedal, all Roland sustain pedals have the same wiring and can be used interchangeably. If it works with a DP2, it will work with a DP10. (DP10 also supports half-damper operation, but you can switch that off if your board doesn't support it.)
probably because the exr 7-s is an older model, and the DP-10 didn't exist then. The DP-10 appears to be a later replacement model for the DP-6. They still make the DP-2, though.that's great then! i asked if it's compatible because in the user's manual, when it comes to the pedal, it says "connect an optional dp-2, dp-6 or boss fs-5u", but in my country for now dp-10 is only available (secondhand), so i was confused how does it not say dp-10 when it must be compatible
