Is there generic memory that substitutes for P Ram

    and is it easy to find and install ? is it a generic ic chip that is
    also used for other things and is easy to come by ?

    Unfortunately, No. - the PRAM memory is proprietary (for that matter the
    older PRAM will be NLA even from Kurzweil as stocks run out - no
    manufacturer has the tooling now for the older ICs).
