John Lodge of The Moody Blues passes at the age of 82.

Yet another sad day.

John Lodge joined in 1966 with Justin Hayward and was influential in two of the most acclaimed Albums of all time, Days of Future Past and In Search of the Lost Chord.

One of my favorite concerts. July 17, 1993 at Jone Beach Theatre, NY. It was a beautiful night, full moon, great date. They were all still in their prime. The vibes were awesome. Man, the years are just rolling by.

I've seen them in concert many times over the years. Always a great show. Had the good fortune to meet Justin Hayward in 2019 walking the marina in Monte Carlo. He was gracious with this time and I was respectful. Sadly I think he is now the only surviving member of the Moody Blues.

Alas I never saw the Moodies but have seen Justin a couple of times.
