Keyboard can control sound module via USB?

Sort of a MIDI question. I have an older keyboard with MIDI out, which I plan to use to control the sounds in a module I recently ordered (Roland Integra-7). However, I have a NEW piano keyboard with no MIDI, but it has a USB that you plug into a computer for MIDI purposes.

My question... can I plug that keyboard into my sound module (via the USB) and gain access to the sounds? If not, then is there a way around this so I can sell my old keyboard? Thank you.

The only way you can use a USB Only Keyboard as a controller is to either route the MIDI thru a computer with MIDI Routing Software or else to use a Standalone USB MIDI Host box to do the routing for you.

These are your only options other than buying a proper controller with built in MIDI ports.
