Kn 6500

Hi to technics keyboard player's can a kn 6500 keyboard be modified to take a usb or SD card instead of the floppy disk or both. I play a tyros5 but always loved the sounds on all the technics as far back as the kn70 organ.

Hi there I have found the answer to my last post. I am looking for to buy a kn 6500 and would like to find out a few points about the keyboard like can you play registion and style from different models made by technics. I have a yamaha and they will play registion and styles from older models but not from a younger model hope that makes sense.

Hi Bill.
The short answer is 'no'. You need to buy a KN7000 to enjoy those facilities.

You can only use styles from earlier models such as the KN5000 or KN3000. Same as Yamaha really.
