The Medeli AKX10 seems to be directly aimed at the PSR and PA lines of arrangers.

I haven't watched the video yet. (2 hours and 20 minutes? Wow!) But the specs look very promising. :)

£545 with 256 note polyphony, 300 styles, 1100 voices.

Looks interesting.

At this price point for the Medeli the old Korg PA300 and Yamaha PST S670 are similar in cost Korg PA700 and Yammy SX700 are c £900

I know that Medeli produce keybeds for other manufacturers and may well build keyboards for them under contract, does anyone know for sure?

Medelli builds the keybed of the new Kurzweil PC4.

They also own Ashun Sound Machines and are responsible for the Hydrasynth.

I'm expecting big things from this company in the years to come.

AFAIK neither of those boards offers a touchscreen. This is aimed at undercutting the bread and butter models from Korg and Yamaha, like the PA-700.

It is a YAMAHA PSR clone but better keybed, portamento is not up to par with Yamaha but O.S. is almost the same, I believe I read somewhere they got sued from Yamaha, I had one, not bad.

After the Court Case everything Medelli related seems to have nosedived into oblivion.
In the past I was able to get an answer from the company, now they don't seem to answer anymore, not bad for the price but when you need parts I think you just throw it away? which is the trend for every manufacturer from here on.
