Hei guys! Check out the new Korg Kronos. Looks pretty awesome and exciting. :D Unfortunately the Korg site seems to be overwhelmed. :(

I bet every single Yamaha XF owner is flooded with tears right now :D

If they manage to leave the prices in Motif-range (or better yet - M3),
every other company can just forget about selling their flagship workstations.

They did say in an interview that the price would be "surprisingly low".

However, keep in mind that this is some new technology put into that thing. And "new technology" was also the reason for the OASYS to be ridiculously overpriced.

So my guess is probably around 4500 EUR, which would still be low enough to seriously threaten the Motif and Fantom series....

    US prices are already out.

    Kronos 61 - 2999$
    Kronos 73 - $3499
    Kronos 88 - $3799

These are official MAP prices, coming directly from Stephen Kay (inventor of KARMA technology)

EU prices, on the other hand will be much much higher. My guess is that
the numbers will stay the same, they'll be only in euros + more taxes.

So i guess we can expect the Kronos 61 going for around 3000-3500€
