Alright, it looks like I'll have to do it that way since there is no possibility to link a vocal preset to a specific keyboard set or variation, thank you very much for the help
I hope you didn't misunderstand my information regarding songbook entry and set list.
This means, of course, that it is not difficult to combine vocal presets and keyboard sets with variations of a style and to select them together.
In the Pa1000, the necessary links are not stored in the Style or the KbdSets, but in the Songbook. However, they can be accessed much more conveniently and with greater versatility using the Set List function.
Although expandable, four Sb entries are sufficient for parallel switching to the variations of a style.
If the selection of a styles variation also should to change the VP and KbdSet, the Set List buttons (1-4) are used instead of the Variation buttons (1-4).
This doesn't mean, however, that the variation buttons or the kbdSet buttons (#1-4) – which you refer to as STS – are no longer usable.
The SetList button toggles between Style Variation, Voice Preset, and KbdSet. The settings of the new KbdSet are initially based on KbdSet#1, while KbdSet#2-4 allow you to select additional KbdSets to be switched to the current variation with their respective Voice Presets.
This expands the range of functions in a way that was never possible with STS alone. Additionally, the Variation buttons allow you to select the other three variations alongside the current variation without changing the Voice Preset or KbdSet.
This combined switching works with the SetList buttons without needing the Variation and KbdSet buttons – however, these buttons enable more advanced variations.

Using a SetList on a USB drive is, in my opinion, the most efficient method of data management with the Pa1000. This keeps the internal memory lean and uncluttered, making it ideal for the most frequently used resources, that aren't constantly being changed or moved to different locations.
For combined switching between Style Variations with VP and KeyboardSets, four Sb entries per Style are sufficient. These contain the settings for VP, KbdSet, and effects in the Songbook of a USB set. SetLists are accessable via direct access, while the resources remain in the internal memory. The SetLists are easy to manage, can be sorted by genre, event, or any other criteria, and can be edited and shared. Managing the SetList with Korg's Songbook Editor, as well as searching and directly accessing SetLists, is significantly easier than within the internal Songbook.

PS: If you never used Direct-Acces and want to create the first sb-entry: The USB device must contain at least one set that is selected as a Direct Set.
