For any of you Korg Pa5X players.

I've just purchased Global Sounds Artist 3.2 Edition software.

Absolutely incredible, and it has added a whole huge new library of Styles, pads, keysets and effects.

The quality is outstanding, and the content is very professional. Highly recommended.

As always make a copy of your existing saved files BEFORE you even attempt to load it in, as it involves a Factory Reset. Once loaded you then reinstall your latest backup. Kst files.

Same here. Fantastic sounds. I’ve used Global Sounds for the KorgbPA5X since its first release. Love the ethereal voices, like the Enya one.

I also have the artists Edition 3.2. I have been buying Timur's software since version 1.**. He is improving the software all the time. Sadly, he suffers with piracy issues (no copy protection) and gets a fair amount of criticism. I find that his software would be more suitable to younger people as there is a lot of sounds and styles for EDM., but that said he always works hard to improve the software and it's now quite slick in it's presentation and content. My perspective is from a 70 year old player who was brought up on organs.

p.s. I spoke to him once about wanting a Boys Choir sound like on the Yamaha arrangers. He sampled a Boys Choir sound and put it in his Artists Edition. How many people would do that for a customer ?

Thank you Chelsea. The EDM is just a small part of it, but the professionalism and presentation shines through.

I too played many organs when I was younger. I'm still young at 79.

I'd like to try the GS Package but I think there are only a handful of styles that I would actually use ? It's a fair outlay of money just to expand the styles library ? Are the new sounds worth the cost ?

Personally I think it represents very good value for money.
You have to bear in mind the costs, time and amount of expertise that has gone into producing a collection like this.
This isn't like expanding some pretty rubbish general styles and effects and building up more styles just for the sake of it
This is a massive injection of SuperStyles, each crafted to achieve fabulous performances with your Pa5X.
As an arranger player, it falls largely to the player to explore, mix and fine tune the results to your own liking, so you must be prepared to put in some time to do that.
And of course the collection isn't just styles.
It's pads, keysets, effects and so so much more.

Just received my first of two free upgrades to Global Sounds 3. 2. that I bought earlier this year.

(For those who aren't aware, when you buy a copy of Global Sounds Artist your next 2 upgrades are free to you.)

So I'm now running Global Sounds 3.3

It is mind blowingly amazing, exceptional, and now with a good selection of Qui Robinez keyboard sets as well as many more styles, pads etc etc all added to the original Korg Pa5X versions, Osimo, all the earlier Korg versions and V1. 4 Korg software.

I reckon this makes the Pa5X completely unbeatable as the most fabulous arranger keyboard ever made.
