Line6 for keys?

I'm sure I'm gonna get slated for this but..... I play keys and guitar in a band..I need to down size my gear ...I'm aware powered speakers are the way forward for keys.... however....
I have bought a line 6 spider v 120 guitar amp(full range speaker) ..and when I play my MODX7 via the headphones out, to the Aux in on the amp..all be it a lot quieter..it sounds as good if not better than my peavey kb4..or my Mackie srm450 loud speaker.......
So I'm going to exchange for the spider v 240 (2x12") tomorrow... This could be the one amp for all occasions I've been looking for.....

I have a guitar playing colleague who has gone the other way.

He runs his guitar through a (coincidentally, Line 6) effects module and for monitoring he has eschewed guitar amps in favour of a powered speaker. I think it’s an EV ZLX12P. I stand behind him on stage and have to say it sounds fantastic.
