Somewhere between listening to the output of Cubase VST 5.1r1 on my Macintosh
and the burned CD I am losing sound quality. I'm using the built in CD burner
in my iMac. What gives? Could it be the sampling rate?

Losing quality? What do you mean? Are you getting noise on the final cd, is
it all compressed into the centre, what?

    Try to be more specific.

I don't know. Could it? Are you working in Cubase at a rate other
    than 44.1KHz ?

Are you playing the CD through the same amplifier and speakers as you
use to monitor your Cubase work?

Exactly what difference are you noticing in the sound?
