Hello,

I use the pads on my Oxygen Pro 61 keyboard as shortcuts.
For example, to move forward, backward and that sort of thing.

Using the pads is really handy for me as I'm visually impaired.

The problem is that the sound of the virtual instruments also passes through the pads, which is annoying because I always have the impression that I've pressed the wrong buttons.

How can I keep the pad controls active but not have any sound when I press a pad?

Thanks for your help.

The oxygen pro is nothing more than a controller. If you touch a pad and you are hearing sound it is because the pad is sending a conflicting cc# message along with the instruction you are programming. Set the pads to send cc#0. This way it shouldnt send any message that can be received an processed by the virtual instrument.. If you cant do this then set the pads to a completely different midi channel than your virtual instrument is set to, then it shouldnt trigger any message to your virtual instrument.
