Metal riffing with keyboard

I've played guitars for 20 years and recently after an injury i've started playing and practicing keyboard.I'm trying to emulate guitar while playing live.I saw this video in youtube and can anyone explain how it is done?

He's using the arpeggiator feature built into his keyboard to handle the tricky bits and simply shifting notes.

He might also be using a sequencer to handle the drums and bass.
