I have an old Yamaha PSR-292 portatone; I want to MIDI into my Yamaha MO8 but I am having problems. I just want to use the PSR as a slave into the MO8 so I can control the volume and voice of the PSR with the foot pedal on the MO8. However, all I am able to do is to either get a combination of the two voices or just controlling the same preset sound on the MO8. I tried to work the internal settings but I can't seem to get it to work. Also, does anyone know how to combine two different voices of the 2 through the MO8?

Check to the connection and setting to tools, and install to MIDI device driver on you PC. There is a standard USB connection and a level of MIDI over Ethernet and Internet called RTP MIDI developed by the IETF, available at web sites RFC.
