MIDI out to MIDI out..wait,what?

I was going to ask this in one of the Arturia forums,but there appears to be no way to post a new topic.
Anyhoo...

I have an Arturia Beatstep controller/sequencer.
I would like to connect it to my Radio Shack 42-4066
I didn't even know there were Radio Shack keyboards with MIDI until a few weeks a go.

The Beatstep only has MIDI out,since it is a controller.It is the 1/8 MIDI out port...similar to a headphone jack
The RadioShack only has MIDI out.It is your usual MIDI out found on the majority of synths.

Is there any way to connect the 2?
A MIDI interface?
MIDI expander?
Cable converter?

Welcome to the forums. Since neither device has a MIDI input, it stands to reason that the operating system would not be programed to receive MIDI if you could connect them. that would make the short answer "No". Good luck! Don aka B3

Yeah,I was afraid of that.
I am thinking of ditching the Beatstep and getting a Beatstep Pro instead.It does have MIDI in.
