Went to see a classical concert a couple of months ago where one of these theorbos was played. The musician described the difficulties of playing it which were the tuning of the strings in that the higher pitched strings are those in the centre.

Organs win for pedal demands & possibilities, but I submit that ACCORDION deserves mention.

- The Bass Buttons! Seriously, how many acoustic instruments facilitate compound chords with each finger? I forget, but I think some of the buttons can actuate 5 notes. That means your left-hand could potentially play 25 NOTES AT ONCE! Acoustically!

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
