Hey!

I just got a quick question, I have borrowed a Motif rack from a friend of mine and it works great! just wondering; if I want to record in the seq mode on my Korg triton. How do I make the voices from the motif rack to sound in the seq mode? I mean do I have to selecte another "sound source" or something in the triton or what?

really happy for answers!

I'm pretty sure you can't do this; I don't think notes played from the sequencer get sent to MIDI OUT. If it were to work, you'd need the Motif Rack to respond to notes sent on the MIDI channels used by the sequencer parts that needed to be sent externally. I'm also not sure if there's a way to turn off the internal tone generator of the Triton for some sequencer parts, so it's possible that everything would sound internally on the Triton even if it also sounded on the Motif.
