Hi! If you are not banned in Google - type "Yamaha SX600 manual" and press "find" ;) It is free! :)

I have the manual already it's pretty good but there are intricate tweaks in the setup of voices like reverb and all sorts of tweaks I have noticed but the manual does not explain everything perhaps it's just a test and find out maybe I can play the keyboard I started off with a e373 then a e473 now this sx600 once I get better then maybe a genos or a tyros 4 or 5 I have watched numerous YouTube videos but i still cannot find everything i need thak you for your help

Hi! Seems you are going to open your own music-shop! :)
Once my teacher said me "If you don't have the wish to know something - that means you have no need of that thing!".
And my greatest teacher Richard Bach said "You are never given a wish without also being given the power to make it
true. You may have to work for it, however!" Great words! No? First of all - try to get knowledge - what is the reverb and other sorts of tweaks. It is very interesting to read about that. You Tube will not bring you any answer. Only READING!! :)

The manuals are downloadable from the Yamaha website. There is also a Technical Manual you may find useful. The user manuals are very limited.

I had an sx700 and it was a rugged robust heavy item. I recalk the concept for setting uo anoatch was you chose a sound and then menu drove to change settings like reverb, attack … etc and when you were happy you saved this to a shortcut.

I dont find it helpful to have too many and on my rig I have :
organ - light
organ heavy
saw synth
Strings
xylophone
Grand piano
Ep (Rhodes)
Bass
Choral ahs
Brass section

If you see great hammond players for instance (and they have two keybeds drawbars percussion vibrato reverb leslie speed expression pedal to deal with) it stands out that they hardly use presets…. They keep working and flicking and usung their ears to set what they want.

So keep it simple and try and set up one sounds you like and go through all the settings and once happy move on… also grand piano is probably one of the hardest to get right, yet we all start there.
