I hear "noise" from PC 361 main outputs.
Also from AUX outputs.
Even when it's powered off.
Does anyone has any suggestion how to solve it?
Or has anyone had similar problems?

Even when it's powered off? Never heard of that one before.

1) try balanced cables (TRS cables) rather than unbalanced (TS cables). Also, if you have a digital input on your mixer try the digital output of the PC3 to the digital in of the mixer. Either one of these solutions should eliminate noise. I do notice that KB3 programs exhibit a little bit of noise, almost like it is emulating a slight B3 motor hum, but it is faint. Does it happen everywhere or only at your home? Can you take the keyboard outside the home and plug it in and see if you get the same results? It could be the electric lines in your home. Can you "record" it and post the MP3 or wav file so that we can get a better understanding of the noise?

Dear Dave

Thank you for the suggestions.
I tried all of them.
It was still"noising"
Finally I unplugged the USB MIDI cable ( A to B) which was connecting the keyboard to the PC.
"Noising" stopped.
Thanks God.

Now I'm gonna try with other cables for the PC - or with another PC.

To be fair Dave, it was a weird enough problem to begin with and nobody thinks of unplugging a USB cable when hunting down a noise path.

To be honest I'd give kudos to Mayo for finding his own solution and posting it here to help others in the future.

I'd suggest plugging it into a different computer just to see if it's only that particular computer that's noisy or whether or not the noise is endemic to his particular Kurz.

I should have figured something like this was in play when he mentioned that the outputs were making noise even when the PC3 was off.

THNX for suggestions.

I will try with a different PC and / or lap top first thing on Monday ( currently out of town)

IT specialist from the office suggested that there might be "balanced USB cables".
If he finds some, we shall try that, also.

Regards

Mayo
