Nord E5D and Studiologic SL73

Trying to use my new Studiologic SL 73 as the weighted half of a two-keyboard set-up. Can’t seem to get Nord Electro 73D MIDI Upper Receive thing happening. The SL 73 plays its part ok, but the Nord is still split. How do I get that little green split light turned off, and two separate parts happening?
“It’s in the Nord manual”, I know, but seemingly not explained or diagramed clearly (to my MIDI ignorant eyes).
Thanks. More questions on programming velocity and saving programs in the SL73 after I spend a few days trying to figure it out without you. That manual seems even worse than the Nord’s.

Having the Nord split is enabled is correct, but you have to set the split point to the last option to the right, "MIDI Upper Receive"
