Nos Sympathies A Nos Freres Francais

This is becoming an all too common occurrence these days and I just wanted to let our French brothers know that we stand with them in shock and horror of yesterday's attack on the Promenade Des Anglais.

40 years ago I stood on that very road when I made a student pilgrimage to Europe and I remember the joy and hospitality which I experienced on the French Riviera.

The world has become a dark and scary place since then but I urge everyone to stay strong and not let fear overcome our reason and our passion for the joys of living.

I agree ipsis litteris with you Gary. I have great affection for France. I lived there for 5 years and I learned to like the people. It is unfortunate that all this is happening. My sincerest condolences to the families of the victims.
