Hi guys

Can somebody please guide me to the part of the Pa5X manual that deals with the organ stop and other organ pipe related settings.
I know I've looked at them before, but my memory of how I actually got there has let me down!
I'm looking at Church organ settings in particular, not theatre.

As a church, chapel organist originally, the Plenum settings in the ORGAN voices are close to what I'm after, but I need to play around and get them where I want them.

And lastly... Having set up my organ voices, can they be saved, and how?

Thanks for any help.

Keith.
I have the old electronic Manual in Books on my iPad so the page numbers shown in the image may be different in the new manual.

In whatever you use to view the manual use the search feature and this is what you get when searching for Drawbars.

As always, thanks for this Biggles.
I've been working on "Air on a G String" (no smutty comments thanks) without drowning out the treble with a too deep bass.
Some of the organ sounds are epic.
I'll post once I've settled on a combination that I like.

Keith, you might also be interested in checking out John Beesley's website, where he lists specific Classical Organ and other registrations specifically for the Korg Arranger's. His videos are recorded on the Pa4x but he has updated the files for the Pa5x.
I bought the bundle package for my Pa1000 when he ran a special deal and it was also repeated last year for Black Friday. https://www.paxmagic.com/classical-organ-showcase

Sorry for offtop, but for me - it is rather strange to hear from organist, that he use something other than Hauptwerk software...
Something like that:
Here is the default organ from Hauptwerk
and more... and more....
There are a lot of organ libraries for free for Hauptwerk. If you want, I can share them with you.....

Hi nakeyer

I don't know much about Hauptwerk. As a 78 year old, you'll appreciate that I'm probably not as young and clued up as I might have been years ago, but Yes, I'd very much appreciate those libraries to see if I can get them to play on my Pa5x. Would I need special software to do this?
Thank you
Keith.

The main questions are:
- can you connect your PA5 to your computer with midi cable?
- have your comp Windows x64 installed?
- what CPU have your comp?
- how many RAM have your comp? At last it must have 4Gb of RAM, better - 8, much better - 16Gb and so on...
As you can see - Hauptwerk needs one (or more) midi keyboards, so you will use your Korg not as the synth, but only as midi keyboard for Hauptwerk software. Also it will be nice to have one more midi keyboard to play the 2 organ manuals with different stop-sets.
Hauptwerk by sounds, by stops, etc.. can absolutely emulate the real tube organs, but it is possible to play without pedal keyboard. It is possible to assign pedal keyboard with any other manual and play two sounds at once. I do so, because I don't have the pedal keyboard...

Hi again Nakeyer

Computer wouldn't be a problem as I build my own desktop pc's anyway and have done for years, so even my current one running Windows10 pro 64bit, i7 processor, 2x 1Tb hard drives, and 16gb of ram.
I can easily add a more suitable sound card to run midi connection, and pick up a cheaper midi keyboard.

So no issues really.

Just remembered, I have a Roland UM Mk2 cable somewhere. That connects the midi in/out to a pc using a simple USB connection.
I must find it!
I used it previously a few years ago when I was using Audacity software to compose some music for my daughter's wedding , and it worked very well.

*** Found it! 😁😁

Hello! I answered you by private message...
Yes, even the default Hauptwerk organ brings a deep sens of organ sounds! Take care about your neighbours! :)
Here are it's voices
