But I would think it beneficial to have one. After all, electric organs were the precursor to all electric keyboards today. And the sweet, fat sound of a Hammond (or Wurlitzer if you must) organ can never be beat, being that it was the main keyboard instrument for rock for 20 years, making classic hits in bands from Iron Butter fly to Kansas.
