when playing with a style, after selecting an ending, I have to reboot to hear any sounds after playing. it's like the sounds get muted on whole keyboard if I end a style with 1 of the 3 endings? I also noticed the pads no longer have volume either. If I start to play another song with the style everything is fine till I stop playing then all volume disapears

That doesn't sound good. Have you tried doing a factory reset? If not, before doing so, make sure to perform a "Save All" procedure to a USB drive.

After the factory reset, see if everything works as normal. If so, it would appear your keyboard is okay.

Now "Load All" from your USB drive and check again. If the problem reappears, you've perhaps got a corrupted file in one of your own settings.

I hope this helps.

There are some ways to mute a styles track - it is not a bad thing to find the reason, why sounds get muted.

If, for example, there are controller events at the end of the style tracks that will mute the sounds, that will remain muted until these tracks produce audible sounds again through other controller values — for example, from a different style.

These could be any controller event that suppresses volume; the most likely culprit is Ctrl10 with the value 0.

Therefore, you should check the events of the style tracks at the end of the style element, where you will likely find the cause of the muted sounds.

With "most likely culprit is Ctrl10" unfortunately I made a typo. I meant Controller 11 (Expression), that is a percentage of volume (CC7). Also CC74 - that is VCFs cutoff frequency of the filter - could cause inaudible sounds.

Only a few track parameters of the style are editable with the internal editor, but using a monitoring program (e.g., Midi-OX) for the events the style elements are sending, you could check with eight channels of the Pa1000's MIDI output, set to Drum, Perc, Bass, Acc1-Acc5.

I noticed that these tracks often has controller messages after the last note events, sending in addition to Bank MSB/LSB.

Haager.

We often have people posting a question, receiving replies and then Vanishing without having the good manners to post a thank you.

This is the case with the Op, he has not been seen since he posted his question.
