PA1000 and computer

I connected my PA1000 and my PC to be able to use PGMusic Band in a box and PowerTracks. I installed the Korg MIDI USB driver and I can play on Band in a box Midifiles which use Korg PA sounds so the connection works, at least in one direction!
However I would like to record a melody from my Korg to add to a midifile created on Band in a box
I believe there is something that I am missing on the PA1000 side to make it work... Anybody has some experience connecting the PA1000 and a computer based DAW? Thanks in advance

I never connected my Pa up to a DAW so cannot answer specifically.

You can play a MIDI file on your Pa1000 and add to it using Korgs inbuilt sequencer.

Take a look at Leigh’s tutorial, if you do not find what you seek on this video check out his others, what he does not know about a Korg can be written on the back of a postage stamp, he used to head up Korg UK.

Thanks for your reply. I tried another DAW named Sonar from Cakewalk and the connexion works both ways perfectly so I believe it is a BBX problem... In ther words case closed
