PA150 or PA5D power supply for Yamaha DGX-500 digital piano?

I've been using a PA5D with my piano, but lately the adapter has started getting hot, which causes the piano to sound extra notes. I also own a PA150. Are they equivalent? Is one better?

The background for this is that I'd had a similar problem with another piano of the same model, which had been caused by using the wrong power supply. I bought a new one, but too late to prevent the piano from having to be replaced. I don't remember which of the 2 power supplies is the one I'd bought, and which came with the replacement piano. I don't want to wreck this one, too! Any help is appreciated.

Contact Yamaha tech support for the correct part number. Chances are they will sell you one for about $30.

Do you really want to risk blowing out a thousand dollar keyboard to save yourself 30 bucks?
