Good news, thanks for posting.

Do remember to perform a Save All prior to installing this or any update.

Whilst I have downloaded 1.4 but for me I will wait a while before updating my own 5X.

Looks to be some very useful additions, MIDI to Style being pretty useful as is the updates to the already very good Recording features.

Happy again , could load my Back up again and it worked , The Midi to style bot works also nice , and after editing you can make some nice new custom styles , There is one thing i realy mis on the pa and that is a slider function to control the reverb real time , i can now control it realtime from my Genos 2 ( a lot Midi commands are the same) , wish it works on the Pa 5 direct ?

a slider function to control the reverb real time...
Yep ... you can assign a slider or a button to a CC# midi function.
For instance CC12 , go to "Settings /menu/controllers/Slider Buttons" , and assign slider or button 9 at "FX CC12 Ctrl".
Then go to any effect you like that is enabled , edit it and at Src: box select MIDI(CC#12) , Wet/Dry at 50:50 and Amt:50
Done
Initially effect is set to 50% and slider or button 9 can add or subtract 50%

Hope this helps

It helps indeed , but how to keep it working with all settings ?

Antony -
Does this ability to assign CC midi functions to one of the PA5X's sliders work for external instruments as well (e.g. controlling a plug-in)? I ask because I've read in past that the PA5X's surface controls can't be employed that way and that you'd have to add a separate midi controller (like a Korg NanoKontrol).

Every program change is transmitted if midi setup is set properly , when for instance Slider 9 varies
MIDI(CC#12) value this is also transmitted externally !
I was used to remote control in the past Kronos via Pa4X in specific sound slots I had programmed.

This is great to know, Antony, Thank you very much! Frankly I should have figured this out for myself by checking the manual rather than relying on comments made by others that it wasn't possible.
