Hello! I am quite new to using laptops as sound modules for my gigs.
I can't have a MacBook for budget reasons; but I do have a HP laptop with Core i3, 4GB DDR3 RAM, and newly-installed Windows 7.
For my keyboard, I am using a very old Casio LK-60 (a key-lighting) keyboard. Yes, that was way back 2003 but it still serves me well. MIDI still works.
I also tried the demo of Ableton Live. Now before I buy it, I just wanna ask if Live is patch-change friendly, just like the Apple Logic Pro Mainstage's very friendly controls. I have a patch-change pedal ready.
For users of Ableton Live here -- can you share your experience while using Live in gigs? Thank you!
