What midi patches are used to play Dire Straits "Walk of Life" ?

The "correct" question is "What patches on which synths will give the Dire Straits 'Walk of Life' sound ?" as different synths (keyboards) have totally different sound palettes.

If he were to tell you what patch he was using on the Ax Synth, there is no guarantee your synth or keyboard even has anything near it. It may even be a patch that he designed himself. You are probably just going to have to experiment with your own equipment.

Thank you so much Ted, I understand and am work'n it as we speak. I am playing it on my new Hammond SK2. There has to be some sounds in there that will work. Did enjoy the stuff you sent and will use that as the Gold Standard. Thank you for all of your work.
