Hi does anybody know how to get in to the volume control to alter the volume on a new layer I have added on my pc3x I would be grateful for any suggestions you can give me I have read the manual but can’t find anything about layer volume control.

There is a DSPCTL tab on each layer...

• Got to the DSPCTL on the specific layer
• on the left side there is "level", highlight it
• You can set the specific level here; on the right side you can also adjust level via keytracking (as an example). The higher you up the keyboard the louder/softer the volume for that layer would get.
• On the DSPMOD page you could do the same thing, and on the right side use a specific source (like a slider). As you move a slider that layer's volume would adjust accordingly. Read the DSPCTL and DSPMOD pages in the manual. For the example they use filtering, but the same logic applies to level (volume).
• You could use any controller to control the change in volume (sliders, volume pedals, etc.) Control of this is a strength of the PC3x.
