Hi all,

I know I know. The keyboard is long in tooth but ever a reliable workhorse.

Problem: I have a switch pedal (VFP2, Italian). Both sustain & sostenuto pedals have been working fine up to now.

The sostenuto pedal (controller #66 in the manual) has no damping effect and appears to have stopped working.
I've checked the cable connections and they're OK.

Some guidance much appreciated.

Easy enough to check out the function of a switch pedal with an ohmmeter.

If it fails the test, the pedal is kaput and it's time to buy a new one..

Hi there,
OK so here we go again. Got a brand new VFP2 , pedals 1 & 2. Pedal 1,sustain, works fine.
I need to know how to set up pedal 2 for sostenuto/soft on the keyboard. In idiot language please, which buttons, in sequence, do I press/hold/scroll/enter/store etc.

many thanks

They are the community support boards for Kurzweil Products.

They also generally give good support for legacy products.

Short of contacting Kurzweil support directly I don't know what else to suggest.

I'm definitely NOT going to slog thru and spoon feed the manual for you.
