Sometimes it's nice to be able to attach a face to a name when people post anonymously.

Personally I'm convinced that Facebook is a CIA/NSA/Homeland Security Plot and avoid it like the plague.

However, despite the 14 outstanding warrants I have in various American and Canadian Territories I shall risk exposure and post my ugly mug for you all to admire :D

Please, no applause... Just throw money....

    Sincerely,

    The Zodiac Killer.... :D :D :D

    Good concept Gary,

Following your brave lead, I've decided to show my face, although us keyboard players are of course far more comfortable hiding somewhere at the back of the stage behind mountains of gear!

This pic from a recent gig. Like Don's not strictly a selfie...

    Cheers,

Looking good, Paul. What do you have there under the iPad?

    Hey thanks Bob,

If you are asking what apps I use on the iPad, it runs Sunrizer and Sample Lab. I used to also use Sample Wiz but as cool as it is I found it a bit glitchy and unreliable for live use.

If you meant what is the lump of plastic sitting under under the iPad, it's a lovely King Korg, with a line mixer slung underneath it.

    Cheers mate,

    Paul

Here's a few shots from our gig yesterday. As you can see we were supporting the Sea Shepherd organisation at their music festival, "A Day On The Blue".

It could happen too, with the amount of stuff I have to do!

Yeah we do. I own all the 'boards, he plays a bit of keys a bit of sax. He's a great guy, great player, and it's good to have a "brother in arms" on stage.

    Cheers Bob!

That band is a Pink Floyd tribute. My other band does classic rock covers plus the odd original. And they are odd :)

Oh yes, just noticed the shirt on the guitarist. Very fitting that he plays a Strat. Slide guitar set up for "Breathe"?

Yeah both the boys play strats. The lap steel is definitely for "Breathe", however in that particular shot we were playing "One Of These Days". It also comes in handy for "Great Gig", which we're working on at the moment, we've just hired a couple of female vocalists and will have them up and running for our next gig which isn't until Feb.

A couple from our gig on the weekend. Thought you keyboard enthusiasts might enjoy the creative shot of "keyboard world", taken from behind my JBL monitor. That's my legs, and our second keyboardist/saxophonist Greg on the right. He's on a Juno Gi, on the left I have my Kurz and Korgs. The other shot shows how we set up on stage - I'm on the left on a riser.

    Attaboy Scattabrain!!!!

Glad to see some life out there.

How about Michael and Ian and Becky? We'd love to see who's running things around here.

Ian >>> I propose we make this thread a sticky so we can see all the future Chopins and Beethovens in action!!! ;)
