Hey Folks!

Version: Ableton Live 10 Suite

How can I set up my hardware synth to play my pre-recorded midi tracks in Ableton?

Lets say I have a pre-recorded midi track, and I want to use my YAMAHA MODX7 as a slave to play the sounds / presets

How would I make that happen? External Instrument? Can it be done via USB? Please let me know how to properly set it up

After reading the manual(modx7) here are my impressions and possibly an answer to your questions.
The keyboard is a MONTAGE SOUND MACHINE with almost infinite number of possibilities.
The MULTICHANNEL USB audio interface 2in 10 out makes it possible to use an USB cable for audio and midi.
If you want to use Midi (with or without a daw) it is recommended to study the topics on pages 72'105 ,189,192-194
