Summary:
I want to trigger non-repeating arpeggiated chords using my KMI 12 Step MIDI foot controller.
Details:
I am a bass player with a KMI 12 Step MIDI foot controller. We are playing Hall & Oates' "I Can't Go For That", and I want to be able to trigger the arpeggiated chords that you see starting at 24 seconds of this YouTube video:
I don't want full arpeggiator when I'm playing, I just want 5 arpeggiated notes played once, in quick succession, each time I press one of the MIDI controller pads. I am hoping to do this with an iPad app of some sort (iSEM or some other synth / sequencer app), but I can also use my laptop if I have to. (I'd rather use the iPad, because it is more compact to bring to gigs).
Any idea on how to program these simple arpeggiated chords?
Thanks,
Lanny
