Hello,

If anyone knows the PSR-S700 and can help me with a problem reading MIDI files:

- I format the USB flash drive with the PSR-S700
- Then, I connect the USB flash drive on the PC and I install the MIDI files
- After, I reconnect the USB flash drive to the PSR-S700
- I press the USB button and I see all the MIDI files on the screen
- Then, I press the USB AUDIO PLAYER button, then File to play a song, but I don't see any MIDI files on the screen

Thanks in advance

The USB audio player, it's in the name: it only plays Audio (wav file), not midi... so yes, it filters it out. Just like if you select style, and then go to usb, *only* style files will appear. Same with this, if you select audio, only .wav styles will be listed.

I mean, when you see all the midis on the screen, you just click one to load it, then press "Play/Pause" to play it...

In fact, it's a PSR-S670.
I tried your solution, but it doesn't work.
The MIDI files only appear when I press the USB button on the far right of the keyboard.
Then I press the START/STOP button, but there is nothing.

I also tried to install the MIDI files using the MUSICSOFT DOWNLOADER software (also installing the Yamaha USB-MIDI driver).
When the PC and keyboard are connected, the "connection check" says that both devices are connected properly.
Then I click on Electronic Musical Instruments, and after 10 seconds, there is a message saying that I need to check the connection...

That's because the s670 uses a completely different OS than the s700. You can't *play /pause* unless you select a file; on the s670 there is no adjacent screen button like the s700, you need to move the cursor to the desired file and press enter.

Start/Stop has *nothing* to do with play/pause. Start/Stop is style related, not midi player
You asked the same question elsewhere and I've already replied there.

Thanks for all your comments.
I found the following solution to play MIDI:

USB button -> song
enter
choice of the midi with ٧ ٨ buttons
enter
start button of song control
channel on/of button to see the channels
