Hi when I connect my PSR sX 900 directly to Scarlett 2i2 it is making a buzzing noise.
I am connecting: L/R out from keyboard and R in to the sound card.
So while recording audio mode it is giving a buzzing noise. Any help. Thanks.

Try plugging your keyboard and your computer into the same power outlet.

Sounds like a ground loop issue.

Google "ground loop" for more info.

Thank you Gary. Keepboard adapter cable is not long enough to reach the outlet where the comps is connected . So I use an extension for keyboard. I am still going to try the option you said .. thank you again.

I may be being dense, but why are you feeding your SX part via the 212 and part direct?

Surely unless you have cause that I cannot see a direct connection from the SX to the PC would be less problematic?

As it is the Scarlett 212 is intended for a Mike and guitar not a keyboard, the 414 is the one intended for Mike, Guitar and Keyboard.

That latter comment said, you would probably be better off with a Multi Channel Mixer.
