While you're all enjoying your glowing electronic thingamabobs under the light of an LED tree on the 25th it's only fair that you share the wealth a bit with all the less fortunate at this xmas time.

All the best and be careful on the roads. Some people imbibe a little too much Christmas cheer before they take the wheel

A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.

Going north for Christmas. (Baltimore area.) It's possible that we might see snow. For those of us who live in Florida, this is important.

More musically, my daughter has requested some dance shoes that can only be purchased in New York City, so we're taking a day trip to Manhattan to get her some shoes. And since we'll be there, and since she's majoring in opera, and since she's never been to the Met, we'll also be attending a matinee of The Magic Flute. (I've never been to the Met either, but I didn't major in opera.)

Hope everyone else has an enjoyable holiday weekend, no matter what holiday you celebrate.

Couldn't agree more. We've bought a couple of places at the local homeless shelter, so hopefully that will make a difference to whoever benefits. Must be an awful time of year to be without a home.

This year is the first Christmas that we'll be at home without any visitors! Kinda looking forward to a quiet one without any obligations
