Hi folks. I just bought a Roland PK5A bass pedal keyboard with a midi sound module. How do i make a note repeat when I hold down a key. To put it in context I'm looking to replicate a bass line like in Running Down a Dream - Tom Petty, With or Without You - U2 or She La - 54-40. I appreciate you reading and responding. Remember I'm a newbie to this so simple language and don't make assumptions in you response that I might know something.

Thanks,
Woodro

The only way to make a MIDI note repeat while holding a key is if the sound module or keyboard has an arpeggiator function you can enable from the panel or with a MIDI command.

You would also have to set the tempo or rate of speed as well as the pattern followed if the arpeggiator has multiple patterns.

Gary ;)
