Hi folks,
I have owned a Rhodes 660 for about 30 years and it's been great except one issue that's come up. One of the keys (an E to be exact) is noticeably louder when played than any other of the keys. Also, this same E key when using the sustain pedal 'repeats' i.e. when you depress the key, say, once while using the pedal, it will play the note twice. As you can imagine these issues are pretty annoying.
Has anyone else experienced this with the Rhodes 660 or even a similar keyboard? If so, do you recall how it was fixed, presuming it can be fixed?
Thanks all,
Shawn
