Rhodes / Nord Tones for less cash?

Hey y'all. I'm a newcomer to both this forum and the world of keys. I'm trying to see if I can find a suitable, gig-able, cheaper substitute for a Rhodes or Nord Electro rig. I love the tones that different bands get using those things, but I can't afford the price tag. What do you guys think? I'd love to hear your thoughts and learn a thing or two. Thanks, everybody!
